We are seeking Farm Operations Supervisors to join our operations within the Emerald region.
Award wages $34 to $37 an hour depending on experience 38 hour week minimum We are seeking experienced supervisors to join our farm operations teams at our Selma Road, Lochearn, Harts Road and Conighans farming operations on a Full-Time basis.
Operating as a part of our front-line leadership in our Farm Management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our daily operations are are smooth, efficient and meet the quality standards we've set amongst our farm operations team. Reporting into the Farm Operations Managers and Farm Managers, you will be responsible for ensuring operators are well supervised and organised within their roles.
About the Role Support Farm Operations Activities (slashing, spraying, etc.) as determined by the Farm Managers Act as front-line manager to our farm operators, coordinating workers to achieve the goals of the Farm Managers Operate farm vehicles and machinery from time to time Ensure that farm vehicles and machinery are in safe working order, performing preventative maintenance as required Ensure that farm records are kept up to date Ensure that our operators are aware of safety protocols and procedures About You Experience in supervising workers in farm operations 3+ years experience in farm operations Experience in spray operating, slashing, etc. is desirable Experience in identifying pest and disease in citrus is desirable Ability to demonstrate leadership amongst the team Ability to teach and coach international workers Understanding of safe working practices as it relates to farm operations People are the heart of Costa.
