The Opportunity
KBR's Government Solutions Land Domain is seeking a Cost Estimation Specialist.
Their primary role is to ensure that costs are managed efficiently and that potential risks are identified, evaluated, and mitigated.
The successful candidate will be involved in forecasting, controls, and reporting project costs across all phases of the CASG Capability Lifecycle. Using Defence's Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT), they will develop and maintain detailed cost models that accurately predict the financial requirements of projects or operations, assessing the impact of potential changes, and guide decision-making processes.
This is a Permanent Full-Time opportunity, based in Melbourne.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required:
Knowledge and experience within defence industry
Strong ability to analyse financial data, build accurate cost models, and assess risk scenarios.
Ability to develop effective solutions to mitigate risks and control costs.
Proficiency in financial modelling, cost estimation tools, and risk management software, in particular Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT).
Experience in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement.
Active Negative Vetting 1 (NV-1) Security Clearance
