Cost Controller/Project Accountant

Job DescriptionProject Cost Control:Monitor and analyze project budgets, forecasts, and expenditures.Implement and maintain cost control systems to ensure financial efficiency.Prepare regular reports on project financial performance for stakeholders.General Accounting:Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and adjustments.Prepare financial statements and reports in compliance with local regulations and accounting standards.Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.The Successful ApplicantThe successful candidate should have:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on project cost control.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations in Australia and Malaysia.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, SAP) and MS Office Suite.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.What's on Offer-A salary range of AUD $110,000 - $130,000 per year-Generous holiday leave-Opportunity to lead and shape a dynamic accounting team.-An environment that champions professional growth and development.If this role sounds like a good fit, please apply below.
