Cost Controller

A cost controller is responsible for overseeing and managing the costs of a project, ensuring that it stays within budget and on schedule. This job requires a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, as well as the ability to analyze data and identify areas where costs can be reduced or optimized.
The Cost Controller will be responsible for ensuring effective cost management of the company's financial resources. The ideal candidate will help in the implementation of the cost control policies and procedures while ensuring that they are in line with the company's objectives and goals.
Primary Responsibilities: Monitor the company's expenses and create ways to reduce costs Analyze financial statements to determine possible improvements and develop strategies to optimize cost-effectiveness Conduct periodic checks of financial documents and assist in the preparation of the annual budget Collaborate with department heads to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend measures to reduce expenses Perform cost-benefit analyses on prospective projects and provide recommendations on their financial feasibility Prepare and present financial reports to management to aid decision-making processes #J-18808-Ljbffr
