About the Role As our Cost Administrator, your main goal is to directly support effective program and project control measures from fund approval to total investment and closure.
Key responsibilities for the role include: Budget Management: directly support the set-up and maintenance of program and project budgets and data within the cost management and ERP systems.
Controls: support the delivery of key cost controls and procedures including, internal process and Joint Venture audits, commitment reviews and timely project closure.
Major Claims: directly supporting the processing of major contractor claims, from point of claim approval through to payment.
PO and Invoice Management: directly support the cost control team and broader stakeholders to actively manage purchase orders and transact invoices.
Data Management: support the management of schedule, capital, and execution data in line with approved cost, operating and work breakdown structures to enable direct comparability across the EA Upstream portfolio.
Month End Process: directly support and complete structured month end deliverables including ledger mapping, loading of actuals, running of commitment reports and schedule imports and reconciliations.
Continuous Improvement: identify opportunities for process improvement within the cost control function, proposing and implementing solutions that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness.
About You You will be a self-starter who can work both autonomously and within a team environment, develop and maintain strong business relationships and partner with various stakeholders across the business.
Essential experience required for this position includes: Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software (focused on Excel).
Demonstrated ability to work in a team-based environment.
Exposure managing and distilling large, complex data sets with a heightened attention to detail.
Proficiency in the use of large project-based systems (PRISM and SAP highly regarded).
Proficiency in the use of visualisation software (e.g., TIBCO Spotfire, Power BI) highly regarded.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, commerce, engineering or equivalent (desired, not essential).
