DescriptionWith flexibility offering a hybrid role working in the lovely Maribyrnong office 3 days per week and 2 from home, this role works directly with the CFO.
As the Cost Accountant, you will be responsible for the management accounting for two joint venture manufacturing facilities of the group, and ensuring financial disciplines are in place and being followed and in line with our organisation's values.
Main duties will include but are not limited too: General ledgerFinancial Planning and Analysis Cost Accounting Invoice validation and analysisInventory managementProduct costingFinancial reportingBudgeting and forecastingPerformance analysisCompliance and auditProfileTo be considered for this fantastic opportunity, you will meet the following criteria: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPAMinimum of 4 years within AccountingFactory or Warehouse costing experience highly advantageousProven experience as a Cost or Management Accountant in a manufacturing environment.Understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory management, and product costing methodologies.Experience using PRONTO or other ERP accounting system would be considered an advantageA self starter with an investigative mindset.Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills.Strong commercial and business acumen.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Job OfferIf this looks like your next move, please APPLY NOW.
