Description
With flexibility offering a hybrid role working in the lovely Maribyrnong office 3 days per week and 2 from home, this role works directly with the CFO.
As the Cost Accountant, you will be responsible for the management accounting for two joint venture manufacturing facilities of the group, ensuring financial disciplines are in place and being followed in line with our organisation's values.
Main duties will include but are not limited to:
General ledgerFinancial Planning and AnalysisCost AccountingInvoice validation and analysisInventory managementProduct costingFinancial reportingBudgeting and forecastingPerformance analysisCompliance and audit Profile
To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, you will meet the following criteria:
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPAMinimum of 4 years within AccountingFactory or Warehouse costing experience highly advantageousProven experience as a Cost or Management Accountant in a manufacturing environment.Understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory management, and product costing methodologies.Experience using PRONTO or other ERP accounting system would be considered an advantageA self-starter with an investigative mindset.Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills.Strong commercial and business acumen.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
