An opportunity now exists for an experienced Business Development Adviser to join our Business Development team. This role can be based in either our Melbourne or Sydney offices.
We are looking for an energetic, proactive and collaborative individual to contribute to the growth trajectory of our national Disputes practice groups. You will work closely with PGLs, partners and clients, playing a key role in supporting these practice groups with their client and market growth initiatives and strategies.
Candidates will ideally have at least 4 years of Business Development experience, gained with a reputable commercial law firm. Applications from experienced disputes lawyers looking to pivot their career into Business Development will also be considered.

ResponsibilitiesThe Business Development Manager contributes to the firm's client retention, client development and new business development initiatives through driving activities such as:
Identifying and prioritising opportunities at a practice, client and market levelWorking with client teams to build relationshipsSharing insights within and across client teams and the broader Disputes practicesTaking responsibility and ownership for the execution of business development priorities, including taking the lead on agreed projects and initiativesWorking closely with the Practice Group Leader, Partners and Clients, providing subject matter expertiseMentoring and providing support and guidance to Business Development Advisers and CoordinatorsRequired Skills and ExperienceMarketing degree or relevant business qualification4+ years' experience in Business Development, within law or professional servicesExcellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to positively influence a variety of internal and external stakeholdersStrong project management skillsExperience with tender processes, including draftingAbout UsCorrs Chambers Westgarth is Australia's leading independent law firm.
