An opportunity now exists for a Business Development professional to join our Business Development team. We are looking for an energetic, proactive and collaborative individual to contribute to the growth trajectory of our Banking and Finance practice groups.
The Business Development Advisor contributes to the firm's client retention, client development and new business development initiatives through driving activities such as:
Taking responsibility and ownership for the execution of practice group and client business development priorities, including taking the lead on agreed projects and initiatives. Contributing to the development and implementation of practice group and client plans. Provision of business development advice in relation to best practice tender and credential management. Research and communication of opportunities. Event management associated with specific client initiatives. This position sits part of Corrs Support Services Trust (Corrs Chambers Westgarth) and will work closely with the Senior Business Development Manager, nominated practice groups and clients.

Required skills and experience Marketing degree or relevant business qualification. 3+ years business development experience gained within professional services (such as legal or financial services). Interest and experience in pitching and drafting tenders is essential. Strong proprietary attitude; demonstrated drive and initiative with an innovative mindset. Project management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage expectations. Stakeholder management and influencing skills. Strong research and analytical skills.
