Freyssinet Australia is offering a unique opportunity for an exceptionally skilled and experienced Corrosion Engineer to join our Remedial Engineering Services business unit in Melbourne. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting projects in VIC across Corrosion/Durability/Coatings/Condition Assessments.
Primary accountabilities:Assess and create detailed condition reportsProvide technical advice with problem-solving skillsPreparation of QSE documentsInstallation, commissioning, monitoring, troubleshooting and maintenance of cathodic protection systems on assets such as pipelines, tanks, reservoirs, wharves, bridgesBusiness development, preparing tenders and resourcingThere will be a requirement for typically short-term travel to sites to fulfill project requirements.
Qualifications:Construction Industry Induction CardCorrosion Technician with Australian Corrosion Association AccreditationDegree in Engineering, Materials Science or equivalentSkills & Experience:Experience with or exposure to Cathodic Protection
Experience with or exposure to NACE/ACA Corrosion Standards
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a related field.
