About the role:In this role you will:
Undertake daily status reporting and provide analysis and proposed actions for Minister and Director General correspondence to meet service standards and on-time delivery.Deliver accurate and timely data entry and maintain a high level of understanding and knowledge of the department's Ministerial and Executive Correspondence System (MECS) and record keeping system (eDOCS).Undertake all record management activities in eDOCS and complete according to the Recordkeeping Policy.Identify customer complaints and escalate to the Chief Complaints Registrar for appropriate action.Quality assurance of briefing notes, correspondence, and similar documents while meeting deadlines.Conduct basic research and maintain a sound knowledge of various projects and priorities within the department.Participate as an effective team member ensuring work priorities are met and encouraging an environment of continuous improvement and adoption of best practice.Other duties as directed and required.This position requires:Well-developed interpersonal and liaison skills, with a focus on building relationships with internal clients and stakeholders; and opening lines of communication within the correspondence team.Comprehensive knowledge or capacity to rapidly acquire thorough knowledge of information management and correspondence tracking systems.The ability to manage multiple complex projects and business processes to operate as part of a team as well as the capacity to work independently, establishing work priorities and meeting deadlines within identified timeframes.Why join us?We are committed to being a workplace that focuses on people.
