Correctional Supervisor, Queensland Corrective Services

In this role you will:Manage a team of correctional officers and provide leadership to ensure the provision of services to offenders.Ensure day to day operations occur in accordance with relevant legislative requirements.Contribute to the development of effective teams.Monitor performance and standards of service delivery for staff under your supervision.Ensure the security and effective management and supervision of offenders in accordance with operating procedures and Agency procedures.Contribute to the provision of a safe environment for staff, visitors and offenders.Maintain an effective system of static and dynamic security in the area, including ensuring the ongoing operation and periodic evaluation of all surveillance equipment and infrastructure.Assume responsibility for the centre's operation outside of business hours.Participate as an effective team member in the development and implementation of the centre's operational plans.Participate in and contribute to the development, implementation and monitoring of case and sentence management for offenders.
