Applications are now open for people interested in being specially trained by G4S to supervise offenders, monitor and report on their rehabilitation activities, conduct daily searches and musters, manage inductions and transfers, assist with visits, and contribute to prison admin and reporting.

Port Phillip Prison is Victoria's largest and safest maximum-security prison, housing over 750 prisoners and employing over 800 staff. The facility offers comprehensive programs including employment, health, education, and medical services through multiple specialist units. G4S has managed Port Phillip Prison since its opening in 1997 on behalf of Corrections Victoria. In June 2024, the Victorian Government announced the closure of Port Phillip Prison effective 31 December 2025.
