Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, your primary focus will be to guide inmates throughout their sentences, helping them prepare for successful reintegration into society.As a Correctional Case Officer, you'll make a positive impact by :Maintaining the safety and security of inmates and the facilityEncouraging inmate rehabilitation and reintegration by fostering participation in education, employment, and programsPerforming searches, managing incidents, and providing accurate reportsBuilding respectful relationships with inmates, staff, and stakeholdersUpholding a safe and secure workplace by adhering to all protocolsTo be successful in this role you'll have :Certificate III in Correctional Practice or willingness to complete it within the first year (training provided)Dedication to making a positive impact on others' livesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsResilience and a results-focused approachEnergetic and optimistic mindsetPhysical fitness for the role's demands, including control and restraint techniquesAbility to stay calm and manage challenging situations effectivelyA valid driver's licencePlease note :This position carries trust and responsibility.
