About the role: We have a permanent opportunity with flexible working arrangements for an experienced Training Coordinator (Administrator) to become a valued member of a passionate training team.
A key focus of the role is to identify training needs, obtain and schedule training courses, record training certificates, manage training compliance and collaborate with internal customers.

As a training coordinator, you will be guided by a mature training coordination process that ensures consistency across the training team and will have the opportunity to continually build your knowledge of courses related to the water industry and work, health, and safety.

The role builds on your skill to collaborate closely with stakeholders and internal customers, to build strong partnerships and meet customer needs.

What the Role Involves: A supportive team, autonomy, flexibility, and ongoing development as required. Utilise your exceptional training coordination (administrative) skills to obtain and schedule attendance to training courses for internal customers. Collaborate with line managers to ensure their team's training needs are met. Manage and analyse training data to keep training records current and understand what priority training your stakeholders need scheduled and manage those needs effectively. Manage training coordination (scheduling training) in line with other planned and unplanned work happening across the business. Engage with external and internal training providers to source cost effective and quality training services and manage payments in accordance with procurement protocols. Use internal document management system to maintain compliance and ensure training record integrity. Use SAP suite of products for coordinating training services. Key skills and experience: Candidate will be capable of building their course knowledge contextualised to the water industry, with a focus on work, health, safety, and compliance obligations.
Candidate will have experience in providing training coordination (training administration) within a large organisation and the ability to manage and prioritise high volumes of administrative work.

Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to build valued and collaborative relationships with internal customers.
An ability to problem solve and adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment.
Candidate will be able to work as part of a team as well as autonomously, and hold either a qualification in Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or Certificate IV in Work, Health and Safety or be willing to undertake Certificate IV in Work, Health and Safety.
