We are honoured to partner with one of the world's largest accounting firms (Top10), with a prominent national presence in Australia. Renowned for its instantly recognisable brand and commitment to being an employer of choice, our client operates from a state-of-the-art office in the CBD. The corporate tax advisory team is looking for a passionate senior consultant to join the team.

About The Role
The corporate tax team specialises in providing comprehensive advice on major transactions, ensuring tax-effective outcomes while navigating potential pitfalls. Leveraging our expertise in transaction understanding, commercial insights, and tax implications, we consistently deliver optimal results aligned with client's objectives. You will join a high performing team providing strategic advice to top ASX organisations, not-for-profit companies, and private clients.

You will be exposed to:
Advise on implications during group acquisitions or entity departures from a Consolidated Group. Lead and grow our market-leading team by applying your expertise gained in the financial services, banking and funds management industries. You'll play a pivotal role in solving new challenges and driving positive change. AMITs, MITs, and Division 6 Trusts, Investment in foreign vehicles. Facilitating initial public offerings and conducting thorough due diligence procedures. Structuring complex merger transactions, including domestic and offshore operations. Ensure continued availability of tax losses within the group and resetting the tax base of underlying assets. Assistance in preparing advice and calculations related to international tax issues. Conduct research and analysis of technical tax issues, preparing comprehensive tax reports. Preparation of company and trust tax returns, including consolidated company tax returns, for a wide range of large corporate client. Country by Country Reporting. Thin Cap. About You
Experience: 8-10 years of Australian tax experience in Big 4/mid-tier accounting firms, law firms, or relevant corporate backgrounds. Education: Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting, or Law (with a specialisation in Taxation). Skills: As a specialist in funds management, demonstrate proficiency in AMITs, MITs, and Division 6 Trusts from both technical and compliance perspectives. Lead a team in delivering intricate solutions to our clients. Working Style: Collaborative, innovative, and inclusive approach to work.
