About us
The Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Cultural Heritage Aboriginal Corporation is a Registered Aboriginal Party (RAP) appointed under the Aboriginal Heritage Act 2006 (Vic.).
We represent the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Traditional Owners of Melbourne and the Greater Melbourne region, and we take great pride in our responsibility for protecting and managing Aboriginal cultural heritage objects and places on Wurundjeri Country.
The Corporation offers a range of cultural services including environmental land management, cross-cultural education, traditional Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremonies, research, and cultural consultations.
Purpose
In this role you'll be the backbone of our in-house corporate services including property and facilities, procurement, and our high performing IT, People and Culture, Media and Communications and Finance Units.
Your support will empower units across the organisation to deliver their best work, while you ensure we remain compliant, strategic, and ahead of the curve.
As part of the executive leadership team, the Manager will work closely with the CEO and the Business Operations Manager.
Key responsibilitiesLead with vision: Oversee day-to-day business operations delivered by the Corporate Services Team, streamlining processes to maximise efficiency.Drive success: Collaborate with Unit Managers to support their work and deliver innovative solutions to improve workplace productivity.Empower teams: Manage a motivated support staff, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to thrive.Be a change agent: Implement new systems and initiatives that enhance corporate services, the community and employee experience and the corporation.Keep us compliant: Ensure all processes, procedures, and policies align with industry standards and regulations.About youThorough knowledge of the Aboriginal Heritage Act 2006 (Vic.)
