Corporate Services Bookkeeper

Located in the heart of Cairns CBD, our client is an Accountancy practice who pride themselves on their superior client relationships and having the ability to provide a 360 degree financial service to their clients.
Whilst catering for separate segments of the market, they have a client base made up of both small businesses as well as major groups involving trusts, companies and superannuation funds.
Presently catering for the local Far North QLD market they have a network of National branches and are experiencing continual growth in the market.
They currently have a position available for a bookkeeper to work alongside a small team of bookkeepers and one of their Partners and service their clients in an accurate and efficient manner using a variety of Accounting software packages ranging from MYOB to Xero and BankLink.
Duties will involve: - Preparing Financial Statements - Processing payments and reconciling balance sheets - Preparation of Business Activity Statements - Preparing depreciation schedules - Monitoring cash flow - Payroll for clients Ideally this role is a full time role, but may offer some flexibility for the right candidate.
The role would suit an experienced Bookkeeper who could 'hit the ground running' and be used to dealing with SME's.
You should have your Certificate IV in Bookkeeping (or be working towards gaining this certification) and have at least 2-5 years experience working in a professional corporate environment.
