General/Business Unit Manager (CEO & General Management)Lead and oversee the early-stage preparations for the mining project, including setting up office operations, managing local compliance, and coordinating initial logistical requirements.Establish and maintain relationships with key local stakeholders including government entities, community groups, and potential business partners. Represent the company in initial discussions and activities related to the project.Ensure all pre-operational activities comply with Australian regulations, including environmental assessments, safety standards, and permitting requirements. Coordinate with legal advisors to ensure the company meets all regulatory obligations.Begin building the project team by recruiting key personnel for the early-stage operations. Establish frameworks for operational leadership, administrative support, and human resources.Collaborate with senior management to define long-term goals for the project, develop strategic business plans, and ensure the project is aligned with the company's vision for technological innovation and growth.Oversee the planning and allocation of resources for the early phase of the project. Manage the financial preparation, including securing funding for initial setup activities and budgeting for future operational costs.Start exploring the integration of advanced technologies for future mining operations, including AI, automation, and data systems. Lay the groundwork for the introduction of cutting-edge technologies as the project progresses.Requirements:1. At least 5 years of experience in a corporate management role.2. Background in managing mining or other resource industry is essential.3. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.4. Proven ability to inspire and lead a team to consistently achieve high performance.5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across various levels effectively, including board members, government entities, and local communities.
