We are actively recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Senior HSE Advisor (Corporate) to join our Corporate HSEQ Team.
Reporting to the Corporate Specialist - Health and Safety, this position will support safety outcomes across the dynamic operations within Civil Resources.
This role will suit a highly capable team player who is motivated to collaborate with site and health and safety teams to ensure that everyone goes home safely each day.
This position is permanent full-time based in our head office in Belmont with weekly travel to site (3-4 nights each week, home every weekend).
You will be a confident, self-motivated professional with experience in the civil resources or construction sectors.
The successful candidate will demonstrate effective communication and engagement skills through leading, influencing, coaching, and mentoring.
To be considered for the position as a Corporate Senior HSE Advisor you will possess the following: Minimum 3 years' experience working in a Senior HSE Advisor capacity in a construction or civil resources environmentCorporate exposure or experience preferredMinimum Certificate IV in Work Health & SafetyICAM Lead Investigator trainedCurrent First Aid CertificateConstruction White Card and Australian Drivers LicenceInterpersonal and communication skills with a genuine ability to influence at multiple levels in safetyA passion for coaching and mentoring with a focus on continuous improvementStrong computer skills including the use of MS Office Suite and incident management systemsPrevious experience in a FIFO site-based roleProven knowledge of Work Health and Safety Act and RegulationsAs a Corporate Senior HSE Advisor, you will maintain NRW's strong safety culture and be responsible for but not limited to: Provide support to Operational teams in the delivery of safety improvement initiativesStandardisation in the implementation of NRW's Safety Management SystemParticipate and facilitate operational incident investigations and provide process guidance, coaching, and quality reviewsPreparing and supporting upcoming internal and external audits with key stakeholdersDrive continuous improvement in safety performance through ongoing engagement with site leaders, encouraging and coaching quality field interactions and demonstrating expected standardsParticipate and facilitate risk assessments and provide quality reviewsSupport accurate and transparent HS reporting and elements of the HSE governance programAbout the Opportunity: "A safe day.
