About You As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Corporate Secretary who excels in managing governance processes, meeting deadlines, and supporting clients with expert advice. Your ability to ensure compliance, facilitate meetings, and produce high-quality deliverables will be essential in fostering impactful client relationships.

What You Will Do Meeting Facilitation: Draft detailed agendas and record accurate, concise minutes for board and committee meetings, ensuring decisions and action items are well-documented.Regulatory Compliance: Prepare and submit Annual Information Statements (AIS) to the ACNC, maintain compliance records, and liaise with regulatory bodies.Policy Development: Create, review, and maintain organisational policies, procedures, and registers, ensuring they meet best practices and regulatory requirements.Annual General Meetings (AGMs): Coordinate AGM logistics, compile and distribute comprehensive packs, manage RSVPs, and ensure quorum requirements are met.Board Governance Software Management: Facilitate governance software use, including training and support to streamline meeting scheduling, resolutions, and follow-ups.Director Onboarding and Offboarding: Manage documentation, provide orientation and training for new directors, and ensure smooth transitions for outgoing directors.Membership Management: Maintain accurate member registers, coordinate renewals and applications, and foster community through updates and events.Skills & Experience Demonstrated experience in a Corporate Secretarial role or equivalent.In-depth knowledge of corporate governance, compliance requirements, and best practices, particularly for Not-for-Profit organisations.Proficiency in board governance software like BoardPro and other cloud-based systems.Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.Strong communication and relationship-building skills.A professional qualification, or a legal background is highly desirable.Why Join Us?
