The CompanyThis leading development company has been established for over 38 years and works with top clients to design and build award-winning constructions across Australia's major cities. The current offices in Hawthorn are stunning but you won't believe your luck when they move into their brand new purpose-built offices in Kew, with an onsite wellness centre (that includes a fully fitted gym, sauna, cold plunge pool and golf simulator), not to mention the well-stocked lunch room and winter garden where you can enjoy time out. The environment is second to none and you'll feel like you're working in a 5 Star Hotel (but without the shift work).The RoleThis is a lovely role for someone who takes pride in their customer service. Based at the front of house Reception area, you'll be the first point of contact for the business and the ambassador of the brand. Your role will be all about welcoming and making people feel comfortable as you greet regular visitors, coordinate meeting rooms, organise catering and go the extra mile to make everyone feel at home. You'll also have the opportunity to support the team with general administration, organising travel, monitoring and ordering office supplies and assisting in the organisation of corporate events and an upcoming office move.ResponsibilitiesFirst point of contact to meet and greet visitorsManage incoming calls and email enquiriesCoordinate domestic travel for DirectorsCoordinate meeting rooms and organise catering, tea/coffee etc.Set up AV equipment for meetingsPoint of contact for maintenance of the office and company holiday houseLiaise with an external Event Planner around organising corporate functionsGeneral housekeeping of front of house areas, ensuring general tidiness of meeting roomsMonitor and order office supplies and consumablesSkills and ExperienceThis is a key role for the business and will suit someone with corporate reception experience, or perhaps you've worked in high-end hospitality or an airline environment. Either way, you'll have exceptional customer service, strong communication skills, polished presentation and a helpful, personable and enthusiastic nature.
