For more details on the organisation and growth plans, please enquire directly.DescriptionReporting to the Finance & Commercial Manager, your role will include:Support month-end activities including accruals, re-allocation, entries, review, reporting and reconciliation.Deliver monthly cost reviews with various business leaders.Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for multiple business units.Assist with annual budget and periodic forecasting.Prepare BAS, FBT and other tax requirements.Assist with audit including liaising with external auditors.In conjunction with the Finance Manager, develop, roll-out and maintain appropriate financial policies and procedures.Ensure compliance with the required taxation, regulatory and accounting standards are met.Involvement in process improvement and technology implementation.Other projects as assigned.ProfileWe are seeking strong accounting professionals who are looking to fast-track their career within a high-growth, ASX-listed business.
This role will suit someone who is CA/CPA qualified or someone who is partly-qualified / looking to commence their CA/CPA.Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting.A minimum of 3 years accounting experience.Experience within the mining/manufacturing/construction industries will be seen as an advantage but not a prerequisite.A natural problem solver with strong analytical/problem-solving skills with an eye for detail, including the ability to structure information to meet the needs and understanding of the intended audience.Strong skills in Excel.Experience with Pronto/Power BI seen as an advantage but not a prerequisite.Job OfferProfessional development: support through CA/CPA programs.15% Bonus on top of salary package.Assistant Accountants looking to take the next step up will be considered.
