Salary $98,478 - $104,165 (Pro Rata) ASO6 | Full Time - 6 Month Vacancy


Join our friendly and professional Corporate Governance Team as the Principal Governance Officer!
The Corporate Governance Lead will work under broad direction to independently manage and implement corporate governance and risk associated processes and activities across the organisation ensuring agreed standards and timelines are met. The role is responsible for the end-to-end management of defined governance improvement associated projects including planning, execution, monitoring and closing.
About the role:
Duties for the role will include:

Developing and maintaining project schedules and work plans which identify and sequence the activities required to deliver outcomes, inter-dependencies, and risks, with high level of detail and accuracy.
Applying contemporary project management methods and tools to deliver projects.
Preparing reports, briefings, data analytics, and presentations to various audiences, including Executives and the Board.
Building and maintaining strong, meaningful, and positive stakeholder engagement with consumers, divisions, support services, internal and external service provides, other government agencies and broader stakeholder groups.

About you:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

Experience in governance systems and processes, including change management and/or continuous improvement to practices to benefit the organisation.
Sound computing skills, including use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Demonstrated experience in working in a fast-paced environment, and experience in pivoting to change.
Proven ability to actively listen to the needs and priorities of stakeholders and through critical analysis formulate solutions which are compliant, sustainable and can be effectively implemented by the targeted audience.
