Corporate Governance Assistant

Corporate Governance Assistant Location: Primarily Toowong, with potential for some days at Kawana or North Lakes We are looking for a proactive and organised Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to the Head of Corporate Governance and the broader team. This role will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of various Management Committees and Board meetings and supporting the Head of Corporate Governance to ensure corporate governance compliance. You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring efficient coordination across various business units.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate Board and Committee meetings, including drafting agendas, publishing meeting packs, attendee invitations, and updating the action items register. Provide direct administrative support, including calendar management, maintenance of company registers, preparing reports, and handling filing and documentation. Assist with annual planning, scheduling, and managing master documents. Respond to information requests related to audits and regulatory compliance. Support in the research and analysis of corporate governance practices, technologies, and processes. Ideal Candidate: Organised, diligent and efficient, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks. Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of building relationships with diverse stakeholders. High proficiency with IT applications, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite. Experience with Board portals (e.g., Diligent) would be an advantage. At least 2 years of experience in a similar role supporting senior stakeholders.
