This role will also provide support to the Financial Controller and step in as the 2IC when required.Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Monthly ReportingProvide timely, reliable and accurate financial information.Monitor and report on the consolidated Group's monthly financial performance through management reports, including cash flow and balance sheet analysis (including variance analysis).Provide variance analysis and commentary for the Corporate division.Draft the CFO and CoM reports for review by Financial Controller.Manage and review reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts.Manage the banking facility and reporting on banking covenants.Manage commercial credit card facility.Manage weekly cash flow forecast.Business partnering with all Corporate divisions.Ensure that major change events/scenarios are supported by appropriate financial analysis and establish appropriate accounting treatment in line with Accounting standards.Maintain and review the internal control environment (including compliance with policies and procedures).Manage CAPEX reporting and analysis (including fleet analysis).Review monthly journal entries including accruals.Review lease accounting entries.Annual & Statutory ReportingReview and prepare Statutory AccountsManage the annual external audit process.Prepare annual Impairment modelling and assessment of Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC).Preparation of annual tax reconciliation.Support the Financial Controller in the implementation of any finance related internal audit outcomes.Review, preparation and lodgement of the FBT return.Manage and review monthly tax obligations including GST, BAS and Payroll Tax and Annual Workcover return.Budgeting, Forecasting and Strategic PlanningManage and review Corporate division budgets and forecasts.Provide assistance with the annual business planning process.Team ManagementManage Corporate Finance, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions.Develop team KPI's and deliver to agreed outcomes.Manage and conduct half-yearly and annual performance reviews.Skills and Experience Required:Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field combined with a CPA or CA qualification.Solid understanding of Accounting standards; Australian tax laws and compliance requirements.The ability to manage and develop a team including financial shared service and accounting functions.Ability to manage the Month-end process, Audit process, Financial reporting and Tax compliance.High level of interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication skills, negotiation and influencing skills.High attention to detail and accuracy.In return we offer:The job security that comes with our list of long-term contracts.The chance to make an impact in a rapidly expanding company.The opportunity to further develop your skills in a strong, supportive environment.A workplace that focuses on safety first.A company with a culture of teamwork and respect.A full drivers licence and good driving record is essential.
