Corporate Development Associate

Corporate Development Associate Our client is an Australian company specialising in agriculture and infrastructure with a portfolio of assets and operations across the country. They are a market leader in their field, backed by one of Australia's largest superannuation funds, which provides the support and capital of a team of experienced investors to accelerate their growth. As such, they are looking to bolster the Australian team with a Corporate Development Associate providing financial and strategic analysis that will support the dual growth strategies of M&A and organic expansion and capital expenditure across the business.
Responsibilities:
Provide financial and strategic analysis to support M&A and organic growth strategies.
Assist in target identification, due diligence, and internal IC committee presentations.
Develop and establish actionable plans in alignment with the CFO, CEO, and board of directors.
Qualifications:
2+ years' experience within consulting, investment banking, Big Four accounting firm, or private equity.
Experience in business financial analysis, research, reporting, and acquisitions/disposals.
High proficiency in financial modelling and analysis, including understanding various business/revenue models and key financial statements.
Exposure to infrastructure fundamentals is highly regarded.
Ability to work autonomously in a small but dynamic team.
