The opportunity:
As Corporate Development Analyst, you will play a key role in identifying and evaluating M&A opportunities, driving internal growth strategies, optimising the asset portfolio, and contributing to other strategic planning initiatives.
Reporting to the Group Manager, you will be part of a small, high-performing team, collaborating closely with Strategy, Exploration, Technical, Finance, and Legal functions.
This dynamic role offers variety and challenge, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include: Conducting financial modelling and valuation activities, collaborating with technical experts and integrating due diligence findings.Maintaining and managing databases and registers to support the monitoring and analysis of potential opportunities.Preparing high-quality papers and reports for presentation to Executives and the Board.Actively participating in investment decision steering committees, providing valuable input alongside senior leadership.About you: To be successful in this role, you will have: A Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Economics, Business, or other related field.Minimum 3 years' experience with an investment bank, PE firm, and/or in-house CF team.Excellent numerical and analytical skills, combined with strong commercial acumen.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.How to apply:
