+ superannuation and bonusGlobal mining company with a world-class portfolio of tier-one assets and operations across Australia.The opportunityAs Corporate Development Analyst, you will play a key role in identifying and evaluating M&A opportunities, driving internal growth strategies, optimising the asset portfolio, and contributing to other strategic planning initiatives.Reporting to the Group Manager, you will be part of a small, high-performing team, collaborating closely with Strategy, Exploration, Technical, Finance, and Legal functions.
This dynamic role offers variety and challenge, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.In this role, your key responsibilities will include:Conducting financial modelling and valuation activities, collaborating with technical experts and integrating due diligence findingsMaintaining and managing databases and registers to support the monitoring and analysis of potential opportunitiesPreparing high-quality papers and reports for presentation to Executives and the BoardActively participating in investment decision steering committees, providing valuable input alongside senior leadershipAbout youTo be successful in this role, you will have:A Bachelor's degree; Commerce, Economics, Business or other related fieldMinimum 3 years' experience with an investment bank, PE firm and/or in-house CF teamExcellent numerical and analytical skills, combined with strong commercial acumenStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders to drive successful outcomes*** applicants must have full working rights and be based in Australia to be considered ***
