The Opportunity:
As a direct report to the General Counsel, we are seeking a talented and motivated Corporate Counsel to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with business stakeholders, providing strategic legal support and ensuring compliance across the organization.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to maximise commercial outcomes and minimise legal risk. Legal review of marketing materials and customer collateral.Assist with managing litigation and dispute resolution. Advise on compliance with government regulations. Analyze legal issues and provide guidance on existing legal documents. Conduct legal research to support informed decision-making. We're looking for someone who: Minimum 3 years' post admission experience as a solicitor or associate in private practice or in a similar Corporate Counsel positionProven ability to draft contracts, provide practical legal advice, and conduct complex legal research. Can navigate and advise within a complex regulatory environment. Builds strong working relationships at all levels of the organization. Thrives in ambiguity, developing innovative solutions with sound judgment. Possesses excellent organizational and prioritization skills. Manages time effectively and meets deadlines consistently. Exhibits strong communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) with a keen eye for detail. Demonstrates initiative, resourcefulness, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
