About the role selectability is seeking a talented and enthusiastic corporate communications officer to join our dynamic team.
In this exciting role, you'll be instrumental in shaping and delivering clear, compelling messages that resonate with both internal and external audiences.
You'll also play a vital role in planning and delivering selectability's corporate events.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Content creation: develop and write compelling content for selectability's internal and external communications channels, including employee newsletter, website, and annual report Social media management: support the corporate social media strategy, creating engaging content and posts, monitoring social media channels, and engaging with our audience to enhance selectability's online presence Media management: assist in managing media enquiries and requests for interview, drafting press releases to ensure positive media coverage for selectability's programs and initiatives Internal communications: maintain and enhance internal communications, ensuring employees are informed about corporate updates, initiatives, and policies (including management of intranet once implemented) Award nominations: identify opportunities and write submissions for industry awards that will see selectability recognised for our vital contribution to the wellbeing of regional queensland Campaign support: assist with the development and delivery of communication campaigns to support organisational priorities Surveys: coordinate quarterly consumer surveys and ad hoc internal surveys.

About you To be considered for this rewarding role you will have: an understanding of mental health, NDIS or community services sector would be an advantage experience in creating content for a variety of platforms, including print, digital, and social media ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and build strong relationships with key stakeholder be a creative, proactive communicator with excellent written social media skills have demonstrated experience in event planning, coordination, and delivery be a team player who can collaborate with various departments to achieve communication goals have experience in social media management and content creation (desirable) a demonstrated ability to prioritise conflicting priorities as required positive, can-do attitude Role Requirements a degree in communications, public relations, marketing, event management, or a related field (or equivalent experience) high-level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Mailchimp or similar some travel to selectability sites may be required from time to time a Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) (or the ability to obtain prior to commencing) a current yellow card exemption or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability or obtain prior to commencement) NDIS Worker Orientation Module "Quality, Safety & You" completion certificate (or the ability or obtain prior to commencement) a current minimum P1 "C" class Queensland drivers licence About the offer The corporate communications officer is a permanent full-time position based in Townsville.
