As Corporate Communications Manager you will be responsible for driving best practice corporate communication for all internal channels, including those of the DEECA Secretary, All Staff Forum, and Executive Leaders Forum all while leading a team of internal communication professionals. The position leads the strategic planning, prioritisation and oversight of integrated corporate communications that supports the department.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
Extensive experience in managing high profile relationships within a complex and politically sensitive environment
At least 10 years of communications and editorial experience with a record of achievement at a senior level in a range of content production and media/strategic communication roles, preferably in a government setting.
A background in journalism and editorial experience is preferred.
Good understanding of social media and digital channels with experience in measurement and reporting.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in communications, change management or experience in organisational development, preferably in a government setting.
This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
