About the role We're seeking an experienced Corporate Communications Manager to join our Strategic Communications team. This role will be based in either Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne, with the flexibility to work remotely with regular in-office attendance. Reporting to the Head of Strategic Communications, you'll collaborate within our External Communications team to develop external communications strategies and initiatives aligned with Australian Retirement Trust's (ART) overarching strategy. Your role will be pivotal in delivering a range of external communications including executive speeches, corporate reports, presentations, key messaging, opinion pieces, feature articles, web content, and high-level correspondence. These communications will effectively convey ART's narrative and align with our brand voice for diverse audiences such as prospective and current members, employers, advisers, government stakeholders, and the public. As a key influencer across the business, you'll provide specialist communications advice, including editorial guidance, to ensure all communications align with the Fund's strategy. About you To be successful in this role, you'll possess: Significant experience in a corporate communications or external communications role, ideally with a degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. Strong journalistic, storytelling, copywriting, and editing skills, with a proven track record in simplifying complex matters for different audiences. Demonstrated experience in long form writing, such as feature articles, speeches, corporate reports, and briefing papers for senior management, is essential. You'll be adept at clearly articulating concepts and ideas in a way that persuades and influences others, including the ability to write using plain language. Excellent project and time management skills are a must, along with advanced verbal and written communication skills. You'll be comfortable coaching others on communications-related issues and have a passion for creating compelling narratives that resonate with our diverse stakeholder groups.
