As the Corporate Communications and Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing communications strategies to effectively promote and support UnitingCare in their vision to be Australia's most trusted health and community service provider.  
The Communications and Marketing team are a valuable business partner, providing?strategic marketing and communications advice?across the corporate portfolio to ensure employee engagement, strategic alignment and enhanced brand reputation. 
This is a full time, permanent role, where flexible working is encouraged. Your part in our UnitingCare team: Lead a team of three experienced professionals who manage Corporate Communications, Publications, and Events & Marketing. Coordinate a community of practice with Communications and Marketing Managers across UnitingCare's family of brands, including BlueCare, Lifeline, The Wesley Hospital, St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital, Buderim Private Hospital, Australian Regional and Remote Community Services.   Creating compelling content for various communications channels, including newsletters, website, social media platforms and marketing materials.? Lead development and delivery of CEO Communications including monthly newsletters, speeches, and presentations. Increase?trust in UnitingCare through issues and crisis management, stakeholder engagement and relationships, and UnitingCare Queensland brand management. Develop and implement portfolio or project communication plans for UnitingCare corporate functions including Office of the CEO, Digital and Technology, People and Culture, Governance.  Manage the delivery of media training and preparation of key spokespeople. Coordinate marketing requests and provide advice where related to corporate brand and/or publications.  Support the delivery of corporate publications, including the Annual Report. Support delivery of the corporate events calendar,?including?our annual employee recognition event.  What makes a difference for us? Tertiary qualifications in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or an equivalent relevant discipline. A leader who is passionate about fostering a team of experienced professionals, providing mentorship, direction and advice. Extensive experience leading multiple programs of work in a complex environment. Experience in providing communications advice, counsel and support to senior stakeholders to develop communications strategies and messages. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement integrated marketing communication plans that align with business objectives and drive results. Strong research, writing and editing ability for communications across all platforms and channels.  What makes a difference for you?
