12/11/2024 Dynamic infrastructure organisation Broad corporate affairs opportunity Attractive salary package + benefits South Eastern Sydney location – hybrid / work from home arrangement, free parking onsite Highly regarded, dynamic infrastructure organisation is seeking a passionate Corporate Affairs Advisor to join their collaborative Corporate Affairs, Sustainability and Planning team.
Reporting to the Corporate Affairs Manager, this critical role is responsible for supporting the implementation of engagement strategies to enhance and maintain the brand reputation of the organisation across all stakeholder groups and support its business and operational objectives.
This key role is also responsible for supporting the implementation of strategic communications strategy, delivering a range of communications and marketing materials and activities.
You will be responsible for: Supporting the preparation of communications and marketing material, including drafting press release, op-eds, EDM newsletters Developing digital and social corporate communications Supporting day-to-day media or communications related requests and managing the curation and distribution of daily and weekly media reports Supporting the development of corporate collateral and organising photography opportunities and site visits for the ELT and key stakeholders Assisting with the management of the website and digital assets including social media channels e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube Supporting enhancement of the organisation's social license to operate in local communities, including Community Consultative Committees and community consultation processes Implementing the sponsorships, donations and local school engagement strategies Planning and delivering external corporate events and functions as required Supporting the management of external service providers such as media, graphics and website contracts along with filming and tour requests across the organisation's assets Supporting the business in developing the communications collateral needed to support the organisation's activities You will have: Tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, business, government or related discipline Minimum of 4 years' experience in corporate affairs, communications, stakeholder engagement or government relations Proven experience working with a broad range of media stakeholders and local community representatives Demonstrated understanding of all levels of government, including how to identify opportunities for collaboration and engagement Demonstrated experience supporting senior managers engaging with media and manage external communications issues Strategically minded and energetic with a positive can-do approach to delivering on multiple projects and priorities Able to anticipate issues and manage risks to reputation, proactively and strategically approaching issues, problems, and opportunities Previous experience in infrastructure, transport, trade, logistics or supply chain management industries will be highly regarded Driver's licence and car – free onsite parking available You will benefit from: Flexible, hybrid working from home policy (currently Monday and Friday) Paid Parental Leave Professional Development: they invest in their staff and encourage self-development Free carpark: available onsite Income protection insurance Superannuation matching Many more employee health and wellness benefits such as sponsoring charity events and volunteering, birthday vouchers, team offsites, fresh fruit etc.
