As a not-for-profit, all employees can take advantage of salary sacrificing benefits, a ~40 hour work week, in an office-based corporate environment.Your New RoleAs the key corporate accountant, you'll be hands-on in the delivery of timely and accurate financial reporting, statutory reporting for government entities, leading the audit process, and supporting the transactional accounts teams including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
You'll also be responsible for managing a small team.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to support any process improvement projects, systems upgrades, and bring your continuous improvement mindset to the team.
You will play a critical role in driving business performance by providing insights and analysis on a proactive basis via thorough account analysis and reviews.Your ProfileYou will bring your positive attitude, engaging personality, and accounting skills/experience with you in this hands-on leadership position.
You have 1-2 years post-qualified CA/CPA experience gained either in a reputable accounting firm or possess equivalent corporate accounting experience, preferably in a medium-sized ($50-500m turnover) environment.
You are keen to work in a community-focused (rather than profit-hungry) environment, where the passion is serving those in need of assistance.
You have a long-term view on your next employer and are looking for stability, a pleasant corporate office environment, a 40 hour work week and a tight-knit finance team to work in.
