The ANZ Finance Team operates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, where no two days are the same. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the corporate accountant is responsible for ensuring all financial and management reporting requirements are delivered to a high standard, as well as driving ongoing process improvements and working closely with operational stakeholders (primarily in the corporate space) to provide meaningful insight to performance.
Key responsibilities: Month end and year end accounting IFRS 16 accounting for ANZ group of entities Key point of contact with business units (focusing on corporate business units) and wider finance team to provide detail and support as required Development and documentation of processes, to ensure strong internal controls and drive process improvement Creation of reports to drive results and provide insight Preparation of accounting papers, such as assessment of accounting treatment for projects run by Design & Technology team Balance sheet reconciliations Ad-hoc projects relating to the ANZ group as required Assisting external auditors and tax advisors Assistance with statutory accounts About You: 4+ years' experience in the accounting field, including a role with a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm (additional corporate experience desirable) CA/CPA Qualified Positive, can-do attitude Ability to problem solve and make clear decisions Strong time management skills with the ability to be flexible High attention to detail Ability to work in a team and autonomously Strong written and verbal communication skills Be rewarded for your success When you join APM, there's an opportunity to grow your career in Human Services, across multiple global brands and geographies.
