The ANZ Finance Team operates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, where no two days are the same. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the corporate accountant is responsible for ensuring all financial and management reporting requirements are delivered to a high standard, as well as driving ongoing process improvements and working closely with operational stakeholders (primarily in the corporate space) to provide meaningful insight to performance.Key responsibilities:Month end and year end accountingIFRS 16 accounting for ANZ group of entitiesKey point of contact with business units (focusing on corporate business units) and wider finance team to provide detail and support as requiredDevelopment and documentation of processes, to ensure strong internal controls and drive process improvementCreation of reports to drive results and provide insightPreparation of accounting papers, such as assessment of accounting treatment for projects run by Design & Technology teamBalance sheet reconciliationsAd-hoc projects relating to the ANZ group as requiredAssisting external auditors and tax advisorsAssistance with statutory accountsAbout You:4+ years' experience in the accounting field, including a role with a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm (additional corporate experience desirable)CA/CPA QualifiedPositive, can-do attitudeAbility to problem solve and make clear decisionsStrong time management skills with the ability to be flexibleHigh attention to detailAbility to work in a team and autonomouslyStrong written and verbal communication skillsBe rewarded for your successWhen you join APM, there's an opportunity to grow your career in Human Services, across multiple global brands and geographies.
