You will be working in their head office based in Camberwell, close to public transport and on-site car parking nearby.
What does the role entail? Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for delivering end to end accounting support while overseeing the Accounts Payable Officer.
Manage and reconcile the companies' financial and statutory reportsCoordinate audit processes internally and liaise with external auditorsPrepare monthly P&L and Balance Sheet reportingWork closely with the CFO & Finance Manager to ensure that all the external reporting deadlines are met and the reports are accurate and meet the standardsPrepare budgets, monthly P&L and balance sheet reportingOversee and support the processing of a high volume of invoicesEvaluate current internal procedures and recommend improvementsReview existing accounting systems and assist with new system implementationWhat experience is required? Proven experience as Corporate/Senior Financial Accountant/leadership role with a medium-large business environmentA degree in Finance/Accounting/Commerce with a CPA/CA qualificationProven experience with audits and preparation of statutory financial statementsXero experience is highly desirable but not essentialExceptional interpersonal communication and leadership skills with strong stakeholder managementAbility to work well under pressure and meet deadlinesPlease apply now if you are keen to join this people-focused organisation.
