About the Role The Corporate Accountant will administer the processing, analysis and reporting of financial transactions and related information for Esri Australia. The individual will oversee the Finance support services and work collaboratively with stakeholders to contribute to the efficient and effective administration of Esri Australia.
Your key accountabilities will include: Produce timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including Flash and Management Reports for group consolidation.Generate monthly divisional management reports with commentary and discuss financial performance with stakeholders to identify risks and opportunities for forecasting.Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reports, ledgers, and audit trails.Oversee month-end journal entries, Balance Sheet reconciliations, daily bank reconciliations, weekly cash reports, and superannuation reconciliations and payments.Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including vendor payments, payroll, and ad hoc payment runs.Ensure compliance with Payroll Tax, Workers Compensation reporting, and company policies and procedures.Manage fixed asset reporting and review monthly BAS.Compile FBT and Income Tax Return information and conduct special investigations/projects.Lead, supervise, and train Finance team members.About You We are seeking an experienced Corporate Accountant who demonstrates strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, strong stakeholder engagement capabilities, and proficiency in accounting regulations and practices. To be successful, you will need:
Formal tertiary qualifications in accounting with at least five years relevant experience.Completion of Chartered or CPA qualifications.Experience with financial modelling analysis.Strong communicator with confidence in making formal and informal presentations.High competence in financial management systems and spreadsheet programs.Proactive and responsible, with the ability to anticipate and solve problems.Excellent organizational skills, capable of meeting deadlines with high accuracy.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.You must hold current permanent and full-time working rights in Australia.Attitude and behaviour align with Esri Australia's core values.Please note you will be required to provide a current and satisfactory AFP National Police Check certificate prior to commencing employment.
