Role Overview
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this position at Kalyra is a great opportunity to join our team focused on improving the lives of older people! The position will be responsible for delivering accounting services across the organisation.
In this role you will be part of a team responsible for the financial health of Kalyra and perform a variety of tasks, including:
Financial reporting : Producing monthly financial accounts and management reports Budgeting and forecasting : Developing corporate and divisional budgets and forecasts Analyzing financial performance : Analyzing accounting records, financial statements and operating models Ensuring compliance : Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and accounting standards Providing financial advice : Offering accounting advice, meeting with Managers and providing insights and recommendations for improvements About the Person
This role is ideal for a highly motivated Accountant with strong analytical and reporting expertise, proven leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering quality care in a residential aged care setting. To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following:
Qualification in Finance/Accounting with three years post graduate work experience Eligibility for membership of a professional accounting body Knowledge and understanding of Aged Care Legislation Excellent attention to detail and communication skills Previous experience in a similar role is highly regarded National Police Check or willingness to obtain one 3 x COVID vaccinations and Influenza 2024 vaccination Exceptional Excel and Microsoft skills The benefits:
