About the Role
Mint Health + Drugs is seeking a knowledgeable Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our growing team. In this key role, you'll facilitate medication preparation and dispensing while ensuring regulatory compliances are upheld, and work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care. Benefits Health and dental benefits Health spending account Paid vacation RRSP matching Key Responsibilities Accurately prepare and dispense medications as per prescriptions Conduct thorough medication reviews and assessments Provide medication management and patient education Document and maintain accurate patient records Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals Manage inventory, including ordering and restocking medications Manage third-party insurance billing inquiries internally and externally Education & Qualifications Graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program in British Columbia Successfully completed the PEBC Qualifying exam Current CPR Certification valid in British Columbia Licensed Pharmacy Technician in good standing Experience & Skills Experience in a retail pharmacy setting is preferred Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Proficiency in managing pharmacy inventory Knowledge of all applicable legislation and regulatory compliance standards in British Columbia Past experience with Kroll is an asset We are excited to grow our team and look forward to welcoming dedicated professionals who share our vision and commitment to excellence.
