THE OPPORTUNITY
In this newly created role within the Baby Bunting marketing team, you will report directly to the Creative Director. You'll be responsible for creating compelling and engaging copy across all Baby Bunting owned and paid channels, bringing to life the brand tone of voice whilst appealing to the next generation of parents, building the brand, and aligning to customer and business objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Advertising & Campaigns
In strong partnership with the Creative Team, you will develop campaigns and support the Campaigns Team to ensure content alignment with overall business and sales objectives.
Work with the internal and external creative teams to lead the creation of engaging and original copy, ensuring the right balance between sales, educational and engaging content.
Blog Content:
Support the Content & Social Lead in creating content across blog, social and eDM .
Support the Content & Social Lead in developing copy for channels such as online blogs, Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok and LinkedIn.
Website Content & SEO:
Support the SEO Team in proofreading & editing SEO Copy for content, product and category pages.
Work closely with the SEO Team and conduct keyword research to help inform website copy and blog content and drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
Optimize existing content to improve search engine rankings and website performance.
Monitor and analyze SEO metrics to refine content strategies and achieve better results.
Corporate Communications:
Work in conjunction with Legal and Corporate to assist in preparing Press Releases and relevant Corporate Communications.
ABOUT YOU
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
6-8+ years of experience in copywriting, preferably within the retail industry.
Strong background in retail communications, advertising copywriting, content, eDM and SEO
Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
Ability to write in various styles and tones to suit different platforms and audiences.
Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and SEO tools.
PR Experience advantageous
Manage multiple projects to deadline and budget
Strong planning, organisational and project management skills
