About the role Listen up – are you obsessed with TV? Do you have an affinity for Summer Bay and a longing for Logies news? TV WEEK is on the hunt for a passionate, skilled senior copy editor to work across the brand.
You'll be responsible for copy editing and fact checking all sections of the magazine, from upfront stories to reality TV news and longer celebrity features. This is a permanent opportunity, working 5 days per week.
We're looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, who can maintain the high standard of entertainment journalism at TV WEEK, across print and digital and, working closely with the Editor, Art Director and Picture Editor, help drive the magazine to future success.

Duties Stay up to date with TV shows and breaking TV news.Copy edit and fact check pages across the magazine.Liaise with Pagemasters on the TV Guide section of the magazine.Help maintain the overall tone of TV WEEK.Take charge of legal checks and prepublication processes where required.Adhere to a clear and effective workflow that always ensures best practice publication.Skills and experience Minimum 3 years' experience on a magazine, website, or related industry.Strong written and verbal communication skills with high-level attention to detail.Ability to deal with a fast-paced, changing environment.Proficiency in copy editing software, in particular InCopy.Are Media is committed to a diverse, respectful, collaborative & inclusive workplace.
