A loving, professional family in Coorparoo are seeking a positive, nurturing, and responsible nanny to assist in caring for their happy and inquisitive 8 month old little girl.An ideal nanny would be experienced, patient, and calm. A nanny that is creative and active and genuinely interested in engaging in play and activities to support and promote growth, and development.The family is looking for someone who is honest, safe, and reliable who is able to provide loving care throughout the day while they are at the office or working from home.Their loveable and friendly Cocker Spaniel would also enjoy a regular walk.The carer's responsibilities for this role will be as follows –To care for the childFollow the child's routinesPlay and engage in age-appropriate activities to assist and compliment growth and developmentAssist with light household tasks including laundry, unpacking the dishwasher, cleaning toys and vacuuming play areas, and general tidyingAssist with meal preparationStart Date: 19th Feb 2024Contract Length: 6 months with the possibility to extendPay: $35 p/hThe days and normal hours are:- 2 days – 16 hours per weekMonday and Tuesday 8am – 4pmThe family's expectations from their nanny are –3+ years experience as a nanny or working in child careHave experience with children under 1 year of ageExperience introducing solid foods beneficialHave a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)Have a current Working with Children CheckDisplay strong communication skills and speak EnglishUp to date with all vaccinationsJob Reference: LLC149Please quote job reference in the comments section of the application form.
