As the Coordinator, you will design, implement, and manage training and trades programs, enhancing Roy Hill employees' skills and knowledge with a positive and willing attitude.
On a Perth-based Roster, Monday to Friday, located at the Remote Operating Centre (ROC) at Perth Airport, you will report to the Specialist Training & Trades and will be responsible for all training initiatives that align with the company's strategic goals and compliance requirements.
Duties: Coordinate, schedule training sessions including securing trainers and resources Collaborate with department leads to identify training needs and develop solutions Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance on training activities, attendance, and assessments Assist and coordinate with management of TAFE calls ups for apprentices and trainees Assist with onboarding of Apprentices and Traineeship programs Assist with management of RTO third-party agreements compliance requirements Develop and maintain a training calendar that forecasts training activities six (6) - twelve (12) months for the organisation Manage engagement, processes, and review of external training vendors Skills and Experience: Advanced experience in training and trade's role within mining or similar industry Good understanding of Training Governance Framework, Learning Management Systems, and developing training programs Excellent organisational and communication skills, ability to plan, organise and establish own and business priorities, clearly instruct, delegate and present Ability to maintain and enjoy highly effective customer service, follow up through to close out Certificate IV in Training and Assessing essential Ability to travel to our Mine and Port Operations Perth ROC Facilities: Free on-site parking at remote operational centre (ROC) Modern spacious office with break-out facilities In-house café providing a variety of hot & cold food options and barista coffee Flexi Leave available to all Perth-based office staff Flexible working hours outside of core business hours Active social club with community events and activities for employees Lifestyle, Learning and Recreation initiative which provides events for your family About the Company: Roy Hill is a world-class mining company, leading the way through innovative, integrated mining rail and port operations, to export iron ore safely and efficiently from West Australia's Pilbara region.
