As the Coordinator, you will design, implement, and manage training and trades programs, enhancing Roy Hill employees' skills and knowledge with a positive and willing attitude.
On a Perth-based Roster, Monday to Friday, located at the Remote Operating Centre (ROC) at Perth Airport, you will report to the Specialist Training & Trades and will be responsible for all training initiatives that align with the company's strategic goals and compliance requirements.
Duties: Coordinate, schedule training sessions including securing trainers and resourcesCollaborate with department leads to identify training needs and develop solutionsMaintain accurate records and ensure compliance on training activities, attendance, and assessmentsAssist and coordinate with management of TAFE calls ups for apprentices and traineesAssist with onboarding of Apprentices and Traineeship programsAssist with management of RTO third-party agreements compliance requirementsDevelop and maintain a training calendar that forecasts training activities six (6) - twelve (12) months for the organisationManage engagement, processes, and review of external training vendorsSkills and Experience: Advanced experience in training and trade's role within mining or similar industryGood understanding of Training Governance Framework, Learning Management Systems, and developing training programsExcellent organisational and communication skills, ability to plan, organise and establish own and business priorities, clearly instruct, delegate and presentAbility to maintain and enjoy highly effective customer service, follow up through to close outCertificate IV in Training and Assessing essentialAbility to travel to our Mine and Port OperationsPerth ROC Facilities: Free on-site parking at remote operational centre (ROC)Modern spacious office with break-out facilitiesIn-house café providing a variety of hot & cold food options and barista coffeeFlexi Leave available to all Perth-based office staffFlexible working hours outside of core business hoursActive social club with community events and activities for employeesLifestyle, Learning and Recreation initiative which provides events for your familyAbout the Company: Roy Hill is a world-class mining company, leading the way through innovative, integrated mining rail and port operations, to export iron ore safely and efficiently from West Australia's Pilbara region.
