As the Coordinator Training Scheduling, Flight Crew , you will be responsible for the scheduling of Flight Crew training to achieve optimum efficiency and effectiveness in satisfying the requirements of the applicable flying programs.
Located within Workforce Planning this position will ensure compliance with the relevant CASA regulations, industrial agreements and company policy.
Your key responsibilities will include: Plan, monitor and amend the scheduling of training and logistics to achieve optimum efficiency and effectiveness Formulate constructive plans for each roster period Produce rosters that deliver the business training program Ensure compliance with regulatory, statutory and industrial award obligations Develop an optimised rostering process that meets the needs of all key stakeholders Produce and maintain efficient training patterns to support the current operational rosters in both the planned and operational environment To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following skills & experience: The ability to work in a team and be highly motivated and goal driven The ability to focus in a high-pressured environment and work calmly under pressure Proficient in Microsoft products Ability to demonstrate flexibility in relation to operational needs Lateral thinking and strong analytical skills Proven problem solving and decision-making skills Highly organised with proven ability to work to strict deadlines Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels Working knowledge of the flying program, business and Crew requirements Tertiary qualifications in Aviation, Business or Logistics related field (desirable) Knowledge of the Australian Industrial framework, Company Policy and CASA regulations (desirable) Experience in Training System (e.g.
Jeppesen, ARMS desirable) The successful applicant will be a team player who can demonstrate excellent organisation skills and an ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal, diplomacy and computer skills are also essential along with the ability to effectively negotiate positive outcomes.
