About the Role The Coordinator is the Leader of Learning of Technologies and plays a pivotal role in shaping the Years 7–12 Technologies curriculum, providing inspiring leadership and support to faculty staff to deliver an engaging, innovative, and student-centred learning experience.
This Coordinator plays a key role in curriculum development and is committed to fostering professional growth within the faculty.
Key responsibilities include supervising and mentoring staff, leading the ongoing development, implementation, and review of the Technologies curriculum, and organising faculty events that enhance both student engagement and achievement.
Key Responsibilities Support the implementation of the College's Annual and Strategic Plans in collaboration with College Leadership.Set and model high teaching standards, fostering an optimal learning environment for all students.Work with staff to incorporate advancements in teaching and learning practices.Foster effective relationships among students, staff, and parents within the community.Conduct regular professional learning conversations with Faculty staff to support their engagement in targeted learning aligned with school goals.Qualifications Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching.Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP).Teaching Quality Institute (TQI) accreditation.Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (Desirable)Selection Criteria A comprehensive understanding of Catalyst initiatives and High Impact Teaching Practices.A thorough knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and ACT BSSS courses.Demonstrated capability to coordinate a teaching team effectively.Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication skills.The ability to exercise sound judgment, including dealing with confidential matters.Other Eligibility Criteria You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident to be eligible to apply for this position.Appointment is subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment in accordance with CECG policy.Application Process Applicants are required to submit a cover letter and current resume including a statement of suitability against the skills, attributes, and experience as outlined in the Position Description.
