This position is responsible for the ongoing development of community-based Targeted Regional Initiatives in Suicide Prevention Programs (TRISP), identifying suitable suicide prevention strategies and providing training, education and support to build the capacity and capability of local workforce to prevent and respond to suicide.In this role, you will:Continue to develop community-based TRISP in partnership with community stakeholders, ensuring key project objectives are addressed.Coordinate and drive targeted community-based initiatives for suicide prevention/activities within the community-based TRISP workplan.Monitor the TRISP workplan risks and opportunities to continually refine and adapt suicide prevention activities and programs to ensure they are responsive to community needs.Build and maintain strong community relationships and actively engage community key stakeholders, consumers, and community members to enhance service provider response capacity and influence project outcomes.Represent Murray PHN at the community level through participation in project networks, community of practice events, Culture Care Connect Program and other relevant community and service provider forums.Monitor and report on the prevalence of suicide within the Murray PHN Region, notifying relevant Murray PHN employees, commissioned services and primary care practitioners about events and supports available.About you:Relevant tertiary level qualification and/or three (3) to five (5) years' experience with transferable knowledge and skills.Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships with community leaders, health service providers, and other stakeholders.Ability to work autonomously and as part of a high performing team.Demonstrated ability to effectively plan, organise and coordinate own workload driving work projects that achieve demonstrable outcomes.How to apply:Please submit a resume and cover letter detailing your suitability for the role.Applications close: Sunday 19 January at 11.59pm
